Four of them are general industrial greases and two are special semi-fluid greases. These lithium hydroxyl stearate base greases have super wear-resistant, anti-corrosion and anti-water washing properties. Mobilux EP 2 and 3 are general purpose greases. They are recommended for multi-purpose use of anti-friction bearings and sliding bearings, bushings and pins under normal working conditions. 


The recommended application temperature range is -20°C to 130°C, but if the adding frequency of grease is increased correspondingly, it can also be used for higher temperature. 


Mobilux EP 004 and Mobilux EP 0, 2, 3 are especially suitable for the lubrication of enclosed gears and bearings in poorly sealed gearboxes in underground mining machinery, except for electric motor drives, it is also suitable for many other industrial applications where ordinary gear oil cannot be installed in the gearbox or chain box due to wear or lack of seal. 


The recommended application temperature range of Mobilux EP 004 is -25 to 120°C, the recommended application temperature range of Mobilux EP 0, 2, 3 is -15 to 120°C. 


For a long time, Mobilux EP series greases have been recognized as high-performance greases, which have demonstrated good performance in anti-corrosion protection, low-temperature pumpability and high-temperature service life.

What are the maintenance tasks for the slewing drive?

The wear and tear of the gear teeth can cause rotation clearances in the worm screw. It is therefore necessary to check that rotation after 700 hours of operation or every 6 months, so as not to exceed approximately 20° of free rotation.  In order to measure that rotational clearance, the motor must be disconnected and the screw turned manually, measuring the angle rotated by the screw with respect to a previously specified starting position.  The previously specified inspection interval must be reduced to 200 hours of operation if the clearance reaches approximately a 15° rotation.
